Hi

As some of you may know im working in Ukraine on a 2 week on 2 week off basis and not due home until 7th Nov.

I want to watch the Grand Prix and need tips as to where to watch it. I have a telly with Sky but the dish is out of alingment and i only get Sky News and bid up tv etc. Is there anywhere i can watch it on net???? Cant watch BBC on net because it knows i am not in UK.

Any tips on where to watch it with internet?????

Clutching at straws!!!

Aghhhhhhhhhhh you got my hopes up, everything was going great until "sorry videos can only be viewed if you are in the UK"

Just had an idea though, i might be able to go to remote access on work computer at home and watch it remotely.

I will be back!!

Hopefully with good news

there must be a bar somewhere that's showing it surely?

I don't know what the infrastructure of car dealers is like out there, I guess the Ukraine isn't their top market, but what about asking at some car dealerships where you might find some petrolheads who know where to watch the race?

Given my experience in the CIS I would have thought your best bet would be a local casino as they love the big events so they can run their sports book.

There are also places where events like this can be ;) viewed, if you are so inclined: -

(Now if only I knew as much about Sprinter parts!!!)

Hi

Do you think it will have GP on or just qualifying?

forgot where you are in the Ukraine but if you can find a German bar they will definitely have it on, there were a few when I was out there, hope that helps, good luck

Does your company use VPN to their home base at UK? This would make you appear with a UK IP address and you would be able to use the ITV program.

The company I work for allows me to select a few countries to VPN to, like if I wanted to appear as a US user. Depends on the bandwidth if the video works fine though.

Same for me here I don't think the ITV site could cope with the demand. So I had to listen/watch it on Dutch TV (RTL7). The commentator got it wrong and called Massa World Champion only to then mumble "what the f£$k..."

It was quite funny watching the Ferrari team start celebrating, then as they watched the monitors, a look of disbelief took over, followed by some very long faces
