Where is OBD access connector on a W246

I need to find the OBD connector to read error codes on a ny B Class W246. Is it covered by any shield or so? It should be below the steering wheel.... I believe.

Also, it does have a clip down cover

Whats up with your W246 that needs codes reading? I thought thats what warranty is for

Thank you very much. Managed to get an error code deleted by a cheap scanning tool for a mobile phone. The error code just made the cooler fan running all the time due to an code/programing error in a CanBus module for a parking heater.
