Where is the rear view camera switch??

Hi Guy

I had the rear camera activated on my ntg2.5 the other day or so I thought, but can't seem to find the switch to turn it on, could someone give me the exact location where to find .

thing to bear in mind

1. At present there is no camera attached
2. I am running a old firmware from when the comand was made (2008 )

need to find out if the job was done or not

Is it possible nothing will happen till the system "senses" a camera is attached to the command unit?

Hi

Once enabled, NTG2.5 will always select the rear camera input when you select reverse. If nothing connected you'll get a blank screen

So I guess they didn't turn it on properly
(99% sure even the first firmware supported reverse camera - if you are running firmware that old you'll probably need new firmware to put the latest maps on)

That's what I guest, I have been in touch with Comand online for a price to update the firmware and will arrange for them to do the update very soon.

Just needed to know so I can sort out a refund from the company that said they did but failed
