I did take a look there but it looks like the disc for the SL is a quite a specific one, [ this might be it part no. A2118273365] limited to around 3 models, but i am not sure about this or if its worth upgrading, i also took a look at the Mercedes shop, the one i thought was the correct one on their site was [ B67824069] this looked older the the one at Comand on line, so any help welcome.

Is it worth updating from my 2007 disc?
Is it just the roads that have been updated or is it the software to?
I did notice the other day that it would only let me put in part of a post code which i thought was strange, i thought the hand book said it would take full post codes!

Thats a hard one....I upgraded from v4 to v 11 and it made a huge difference.
Yours is a bit newer, I probably would, £200 is a lot of cash however.

In my C Class, which I think is a different system to your car, V6.3 gave me TMC so that was a worthwhile upgrade, about 3yrs ago.
I drive all over the country and haven't felt the need to change it again, although my disk does have an issue with the index - it often can't find roads by searching even though they're in the map. If it was, maybe £75, then I'd just buy it, but £200+ is out of the question.
