Which grill for my CLK

Have you got both? If so why not ring the changes ...... until one grows on you the most..I personally like them both

I would go for the 3 fin which I have now purchased but can`t get the old grill out as I can`t release it at the bottom after removing the top 4 small bolts.
As you seem to be an expert in changing the CLK ( w209) grill could you please advise me.

The grill is just held in by a lug at the bottom of either side. BTW the central bridge piece that is bolted to the grill is a different size between the early type and the later one so you may need to change that as well!

Big thank you, didn`t realise I needed that bracket as well which I got from Merc`s and only cost £10. My new grill is now on and looks great and put my old one on e-bay.

So where are the further away pics? The grills suit the style of the car not just a small part of it. The 1 fin is a much sportier design which looks out of place on a standard car that doesnt have a body kit to match. The AMG cars are a good example.

I personally prefer the single fin look but not at the expense of the overall effect on the car. So if it cant carry it off then its the 3 finned grill for me.
