White dots on the paintwork.

If the paintwork is in any way dull , you will need to polish or cut it first .

Harly is just a wax, it won't shine if the paintwork is dull.

I'm not suggesting for a minute that your paintwork is anything other than bright and shiny ;) but hypothetically speaking, if it is , polish it first ....

That much, I do know ;)

Car is washed & polished regularly. It's even been waxed once, but that was with some Auto Glym, which has now run out, hence the Harly Wax.

My problem is (and I'm prolly not alone), every time it rains, the car ends up covered in sand or summat, and it sticks to the polish or the wax, so I have to start all over again, so each time I clean it, it's two or three hours, rather than just one.

Hmmmmm

I wax mine once a month with Harly Wax, when it rains i do get dust and stuff left on it , but it just washes off easily with the hose, (spray the car with water first to wash the worst of the sand/dust off before you start washing) Zymol Wash, and a lambswool mitt, then a good leather off .

Wax takes about 1 1/2 hrs with HW once a month

Wash takes about 1/2 an hour once a week .

I guess it just rains harder in the dreary Midlands... :)
