They're very minor updates to be fair. All manufacturers do it constantly, they just don't make you aware of the changes generally

Your too young to insure a C63S. I imagine it would cost you like £15k a year or you'd need one of those boxes that would dob you in to the insurance company if you tap the accelerator

Something to look forward to once you get a bit older though. Oh no by then they'll all be boring driverless cars

It's in line with the C class model. So C63 only just came out but W205 C class has been out a while.

So I've changed my spec today and gone for something more courageous. I don't think I will change now as I've given it lots of thought:

Polar White
Pepper red/black two tone interior
Black ashwood interior trim
Night package
Black multispoke 19" alloys
Premium package
AMG switchable exhaust
360 degree camera

I'm really looking forward to it coming now that my spec is decided

No matter how hard you try, you just can't beat the white for offsetting against the black trim etc.

So went for 'fridge' white because its really sharp and clinical against the black alloys and night pack, plus I have diamond white now, plus it's so much easier to match up in case of damage in future

Good choice and exact same colour choices as me. I think it's going to look really mean and stylish

When are you getting yours? Mine's ready I think early July but I'm going to hang on for 1st Sep. The wait is going to be hard!

I'm picking up in Norwich but am from Peterborough myself.

Peterborough is the sports car capital of the world with more M cars per person than anywhere else. I'm guessing but as your reading it on the Internet it must be true. Not sure why they have the quad tail pipes removed on their M3's though and replaced with a single pipe (And maybe a diesel engine)

I'm wondering if I should de-badge my C63 S or not to blend in a bit more but if I do the AMG and V8 Bi-Turbo badges are going on my wife's Micra so she can blend in with all the performance cars in Peterborough

The C63 I test drove was brilliant blue with black wheels. Cannot remember if it has the night package and it did look awesome. I am a bit of a sucker for a blue car but having had two in a row I fancied a change in the end.

The other thing to consider is the red pepper and black seats I think make the interior look proper sporty but not the sort of combo that would go with the blue exterior. So you'd probably want to switch to the black seats. That was my original order combo.

I'll be past my lock down now but happy with my decision. Will be my first white car and I think with the night package will look really sharp. You cannot go wrong with either choice though I think.

Ok, all this talk of amending orders so I also did - I added the surround camera, not before discussing amending my order for a Coupe though which is what I would prefer but am sticking with the saloon for now.

Good choice. If you've not seen it in action it's awesome and I think a snip at £300 odd. The picture quality is really sharp, BMW's surround cameras don't cover the front of the vehicle, cost more and the picture isn't nearly as good.

It's not to say anyone cannot park or such but just one extra safety measure to save scratching your alloys for instance. More by the misses of course
