Who's placed a C63/s order ??

Ok, all this talk of amending orders so I also did - I added the surround camera, not before discussing amending my order for a Coupe though which is what I would prefer but am sticking with the saloon for now.

That's a good choice bud. I went for that too.

Has anyone seen a C63 in palladium silver yet ?

Yeah, I've seen one. Looked awesome with the black wheels. Not normally a fan of silver to be fair

I am really having second thoughts when I keep seeing spy shots of the new coupe - my current car is a coupe and I always preferred the coupe over the saloon and I don't need 4 doors as my kids are old enough to get in the back seats. It's just thst when I drove the saloon I was blown away and of course the Coupe wasn't available, hence the saloon order. I also figured I would stick with it for 2 years and then move into a Coupe or other special edition that I am sure is coming.

Problem is that the Internet rumours are in full swing now and Autoexpress are saying that the Coupe will be unveiled in September with the first customer deliveries in November. If that was true I would be tempted to wait. So much so that I called my dealer yesterday to ask if I did say I want a coupe instead, is that a lost sale to him (as I wouldn't take the saloon) - he said no not really as they could move my deposit BUT of course right now it's all hearsay and they have no official guidance on spec or pricing or dates (most likely it will cost more).

Hmmm - any advice guys?

Tricky one mate. You clearly like the appeal of the coupes. It's a bit longer wait and you may not like it (but that's probably unlikely).

I personally love the overall functionality of a 4 door especially as my son is 13. We have really gotten used to 4 doors after having M3's back to back for years. I wouldn't go back to 2 door at this moment in time. My son plays football and the 4 door makes travelling easier.

First demonstrators are arriving in November, with customer orders being built in December. I'm not sure yet if the C63 coupe is going to be available from launch though, I can't get that answer out of head office

You could get them to put your name down for the first coupe's coming out, as there will be a list through boutique ordering. That way they can hold your deposit, he can feel like he's still held on to a sale and you can get an early car

I understand the looks of a Coupe but also have kids and 4 doors is just much easier. Remember this is just the wait that's doing it, it's like us changing the colour of our cars or specs we picked. Sometimes your first choice is still the right one.

So you want blue again? ;)

All good points - I'm going to sit tight on my original plan which is get in a C63S asap and look to the coupe in 2 years time or so.

Good on ya mate :thumb: it's nice to have the 'first on the road' of any model let alone something as good as the C63s. Look forward to yours coming - have they given you a delivery date yet ?

Nah I think I'm good with white. Just saying too much time between order and delivery makes you question your decisions, etc.

Too late for me. I must be well and truly locked down now. Be the most expensive white goods I've ever purchased ;)

My car is meant to be built in mid August, so pick up September.

Obviously I think white looks good but the main reason I choose white from black/blue etc is because I believe that white (or silver) hides swirls marks best compared to black/blue paint and I hate swirl marks...so although that blue looks fantastic, it will show swirls easier.

Here here. My mind is working overtime too.

I would really love yo see one in the flesh that's in iridium or palladium silver

I think most of the colour combo's will look great. They are all pretty safe choices so I don't think you can really go wrong.

Not had a white car before but looking forward to it hopefully being easier to clean. Live in a hard water area but do white cars show up the water spots or you cannot see them?

Funnily enough I think white hides the dirt more than darker cars also - they hide water marks too as my M3 is carbon black and gets them but don't get them on the C63

Then for me I think the white is a good choice. Hard enough keeping my car clean as it is, live in a new build area where they are still building.

One of the reasons for waiting until Sept is they are building a house next door to us now. Lived here 2 years before they build our other neighbours house... Also they've finally started to surface the road probably. House should be occupied this month and hopefully by September they'll have finished the road. Though again that's years late so who knows but the building work next door covers our cars in dust. I can clean it at the weekend, not go anywhere Monday and when I look at it in the evening it's filthy :(

Got confirmation today that the C63 Coupe won't be available in December when the normal coupe arrives, but will arrive for customer deliveries in March
