Whose car still has original first aid kit?

first aid kit

I recently bought a 1985 w123ce and while cleaning the interior this weekend i noticed a unusual looking compartment on the rear shelf, when i looked inside there was an unused and i assume original first aid kit, didn't notice any chalk though.

1989, 1991 & 1992 190E 2.6s: all still have original unopened first aid kit, jack and full toolkit. All have the original label tied to the jack. I know, I know. How **** is that?

Everything still there in my C350 ....... or at least I hope so since it's only 4 months old!

Also had all the original first aid kit, tools and spare wheel with tyre in my 1999 CLK230k sold to another member earlier this year.

My old W202 had the original first aid kit but my W126 doesnt... i was naughty when i swapped cars as i took the first kit out of my W202 and its now in my W126

A better question might be, who has used an MB First Aid kit? I'll start one.

I thought they all did, lol. Both my 124's have theirs, I haven't even opened the new one to look at it. Never had a car before with a first aid kit and never needed one either, so doesn't bother me if it's out of date or not.

My W123 1982 had its original first aid kit in it when I collected it a couple of weeks back!

The kit has a lovely 1980s Kitch about it and is charming! Although I don't believe any prospective patients will want to be wrapped up in its yellowing contents!!

Looks great though !

My 1999 is still the original kit. I don't think any of the parts have been used - and I hope never to need to use them.
I'm not sure what exactly needs replacing in them - I don't think any of it will not work - after all it's all kept in well sealed packaging.

2001 w210 still have original first aid kit

My W212 E-estate (reg.12) has half of its first aid kit empty. My 3 year old son got a little scratch on the leg and insisted on having a full bandage put on. Could not find one at home, though...

... sorry, wrong thread??

Alex

I bought a first-aid kit for my first 202 as it was missing, second 202 it was there for the test drive but mysteriously missing upon collection and was missing on my 208 - I've had the same first-aid kit in every MB I've owned so I guess it's only "original" to me!

My 1969 Mercedes Unimog Military ambulance still has the original field first aid kit.... If that counts

Picture of the Mog not the kit Ben please.

My 1994 124 has its original kit but would not go any where near an open wound with it.

This is an old thread resurrected but I think I can shed light on the inclusion of chalk. It's for marking the position of vehicles so they can be moved without losing accurate information for police reconstruction/investigation.
Normally a line is put alongside each tyre with a perpendicular line out from the centre of the hub line to make a T.
The vehicle corners can also be marked on the road.
