Will C270CDi Elegance wheels fit a W210?

I currently have 18" AMG style wheels on my E320. They take a 275/35 on the rear and a 255/35 on the front. The alloys are in a very poor state and I am reluctant to keep buying such expensive tyres. These days the car is used by my wife to ferry kids around!

I am looking to buy something like 16" alloys that take a 215/55 tyre or something like that. The ones I am currently tracking on ebay are from a C270CDi Elegance - will they fit? If not does anyone know of the best way to check the fittings?
