No, no, no, no, no! Just don't, far too modern to work aesthetically on a w123. If you don't believe me then read this thread...
http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/general-discussion/75268-w123-ruchas.html My thoughts pretty much echo Grobers in post #8
The list of alloys that 'work' on a w123 is quite short IMO and they're all period wheels...
w123 bbs | Flickr - Photo Sharing! and
AMG Pentas are the only ones that come to mind at silly o'clock in the morning except for the origional 'mexican hat' style
The Mexican hat style have the same issue as the (fantastic looking) origional steels and hubcaps in that being 14" tyre choice/availability/price is less than stellar. Lowered on steels and hubcaps is still one of the best looks for them though...

Obviously it's your car so with regards to fitting... as well as the pcd the
wheel offset/ET needs to be considered along with width and the centre bore needs to be correct to locate the wheel on the hub (hubcentric). I
think the stock fitment for the w123 is a 6" wide wheel with an ET of around 30. Centre bore of Merc wheels is 66.5mm and i think VAG wheels have a smaller hole so would require machining, wheels with a larger hole can be sleeved
If those AMG replicas work ET wise (i suspect they're 7" ET37 which'd mean they sit 20mm closer to the strut and 6mm further out in the arch) the tyres fitted will have a smaller rolling circumference than the stock 185 or 195/70r14 i.e. at an indicated 70 you'll actually be doing around 65mph
