Can anyone recommend a window tinting service around uxbridge middx?

only one really is pentagon, they have branches across the country, had mine on 8 years, still looks like new.

I agree, I had a heavy tint removed from the driver/passenger glass and replaced with an security laminate at pentagon, and excellent job was done.:thumb:

Another nod in the Pentagon direction - possibly not the cheapest, but if you want it done right.....

Pentagon gets my vote too, excellent job using the best quality window films.

I think pentagon is going to be out of my budget - will buzz them to check

any other decent fitters out there?

Beware of the cheaper outfits, there are two types of window film.
Pentagon uses the good stuff which will last for the life of the car.

At the cheaper end of the scale is the stuff that bubbles up & lifts of the glass after a couple of years. At least with Pentagon, you will only do the job once.

I would say give SMK Audio in the Heston area a try if your looking for something cheap and reasnably good quality.

Hello there, ive just had a quote for £250 for a w208 clk at pentagon in glasgow.

Dave.

That sounds like a good price - i'm going to check my local branch tomorrow

they have a funky website, shame most of it is under construction

Try The Old School at Chertsey. Tel No 01932 873506.

They have done both of my S-Class's highly recommended, many of my friends have used them.

massive difference in pentagon prices between branches - so far had 395+ vat to £220 inc vat! Thats for tints all round! Needless to say that i booked it in at the cheaper one!

Well, it just shows, shopping around does work, who cannot say no too; buy one, get one free!

Years ago Fiat had a promotion of their vans, buy one and get a car free, do you want two Fiats?

Answer on a postage stamp to GM Europe:doh:

Old School Windscreens are one of the best glass specialists I know of.

They have a great reputation for top-quality work.

Which branch quoted you £220 ?

I didn't bother then :(

Sorry Peter - you've lost me! :o

I've used Old School Windscreens in the past for a new windscreen in one of my cars - they were great.

Were you trying to say that I should get the 190 tinted? Not really for me though!
