Last week my PC crashed big style so I had to use the manufacturers recovery disk to reinstall Windows XP. Since then Windows Media Player displays video in poor quality colour a bit like a 256 colour display. My display is set to 32bit high colour and my NVidia card has the latest drivers. I updated Media Player to v10 but no joy.
I downloaded Divx. Same problem.
MS support no help. Any ideas?
I'm not having a good week PC wise. First the big crash and reinstall with loss of programmes, data, GTA San Andreas save games etc. etc. Then when I tried to reinstall Paint Shop Pro the disk exploded in the drive knackering the DVD RW drive.
I'll have to post a pic of the disk fragments.
