haha, shocking! we've had our genuine rubber mats in every mercedes we have owned since they left the 1983 w123 230te... and they are still going strong... that to me is what i love about mercedes, stupid i know but the mats are 28 ish years old? and they are perfect oh and they look like they are made to fit each car.

I was there at 9:00am on Thursday 30th December (sad, I know) as I was sick of trying to keep the genuine MB carpet mats clean during winter. I just had to slightly trim the driver's side mat adjacent to the accelerator, a bargain at £6.99 for the set.

I don't think the e-bay guy is claiming they are made by MB but that option comes on when making the advert. There is nothing in the text to say they are made by MB but I imagine some people will be caught unaware!!
