WIS and EPC system

I beleive you get access to these systems if you join the official owners club.
Has anyone used these? I'm looking at doing my own maintenance, i know the basics but i'm no expert. Are they easy to follow?

Would like to get peoples opinion before I spend £30 for membership and access to the systems

I do not think WIS is available anymore. EPC is available.

On the MB owners club website it says you get access to it, I presume you can then?

The short answer is no. You no longer get access to WIS as part of your club membership.

I quote, courtesy of Google translate "For legal reasons since 1 April 2012 not more services to WIS for club members in the Mercedes-Benz Club Lounge available."

Still think the club membership is great value. 12 magazine and access to EPC makes it far better value than a subscription to Mercedes Enthusiast.

Thats a bit of a bummer as I was hoping to carry out some maintenance myself and save some £££££. Particualy changing brake discs and pads, could have a crack myself but not sure if its a good idea without some direction!
