We have just take out a front subframe on a 107 to do the front subframe bushes. It was a bit of a job too!:crazy:

The symptoms were a very wondery front end and after we had taken out the subframe the bushes literaly fell out.:eek:

It was wonderful to take apart too. Everything came undone with relative ease.
 
I know Ollie, you are the man that knows just about everything about MB's, but why did you remove the front subframe to change the mounts ?

I changed mine about four years ago with the subframe in situ, a bit fiddly, but surely easier than removing the complete subframe.
 
Quite an impressive rig that is holding the engine in mid-air !
 
We have to do the engine mounts too and it was just easier to do it this way.
