worn leather steering wheel 220 CE

Anyone have any ideas for refreshing a leather steering wheel. It is crazed and possibly beyond help but I'd be grateful if anyone has managed to save one with similar wear.

been using saddle soap on mine,the "ten oclock area" isnt so noticeable now.hope youre enjoying youre c124.

Thanks Haggis, I'll try the saddle soap.
Only driven about 50 miles and still getting used to the auto and pedals!

Although I took a chance on lack of service history it looked weel cared for and has had a respray not too many years ago as well as new front wings.

Took it to have the tracking checked today and took the opportunity to have a good look underneath, generally looked in order though I'm no mechanic!
The engine bay was very clean and tidy as well. I've put some pictures in an album here.

Pearl blue with blue leather seats.

Thanks for advice re steering wheel cover, fitted it the other day, the needle supplied broke pretty quickly but used one of my own that was much better.
The ebay seller did replace the needle very quickly and was very apologetic though.
