Been wanting to blank my chrome for a bit, so today I thought I'd have a go at wrapping some of the easy trim.

Wrapped the chrome on the grill bar and fitted a bit of red piping trim
And did the belt line as well.

Really pleased how it's turned out.

Going have a go at doing the chrome surround

    Looks good.

I was thinking of a bit of De-chroming myself. How difficult was it on a scale of 1 to 10?

    cheers

I only did the straight bits so really quite easy, took longer cutting the strips out than fitting.
Did have a go at the chrome around the star but struggled a bit with that, gave up in the end, definitely need a heat gun for these types of trim.
But the easy stuff is simple to do, I was quite nervous with a razor blade though:crazy:
And it wasn't till I was putting the last strip on I realised the wrapping as a protective film :dk:
