wrong tyres sizes

Hi, i recently posted a thread after viewing a c43 and noticing the same size tyres front and rear, you guys put me wise telling me that the fronts should be 225/45 17 and the rears 245/40 17. I went back today to see the car for a second time and on further inspection found that the near side had 245/40 17 front and rear and the off side had 225/45 17 front and rear!!! the owner has recently had new tyres fitted all round , not being an enthusiast he hadnt even noticed, but what a muppet who fitted them! anyway i am buying the car which apart from the tyre mix up looks great, and as soon as i find out how to i will put some photos up for you all to look at, cheers Leigh

Don't forget, the tyres will probably be directional as well (my Conti's were) so each corner is different! Make sure you get them put back on the right side..
