Xenon bulb opinions please.

That's a very interesting article, for me it begs the question if they are only good for 3 years what are you gaining by buying the more expensive brands. 🤔
More lumens when they are in their prime operation window which is what you want. Rather than staring with a poor product for it to get worse.
 
That's talking about HID (discharge) lights though ... AFAIK everyone else here is taking about filament bubs.
The OP talked about Xenons not Halogens and Xenons are HID and the car is a 2013 C250 so not likely to be Halogens

Xenon filament bulbs also degrade over time - so moot point

Do they (genuine question)?

The ones in my R129 are pretty old now, but I very rarely drive it in the dark so probably wouldn't notice :D

That is also an interesting article, I must admit I did know there were proper ones and also conversion kits going but did not know the filament conversion ones are not proper HID bulbs.
