That's talking about HID (discharge) lights though ... AFAIK everyone else here is taking about filament bubs.
The OP talked about Xenons not Halogens and Xenons are HID and the car is a 2013 C250 so not likely to be Halogens

That is also an interesting article, I must admit I did know there were proper ones and also conversion kits going but did not know the filament conversion ones are not proper HID bulbs.No - there are Xenon-filled filament bubs:
