Morning all, I have woken up this morning to a malfunction display on the trip computer, stating that I have a Xeon bulb out Aaahhh!

Can I just pop into halfords and grab one of the shelf?

Can I fit it myself?

If the answers no, does any one know we're I can get it sorted.?:thumb:

Xenons...yes. Though I don't think Halfords do them. Ebay do...cheap.

But be aware of high voltage...turn everything off first.

Though, make sure it is the bulb by trying on the other side.

You should buy two as they will be different given the age and with xenons that is a noticeable difference. Yes you can change them yourself or Halfrords will do it for you for a small fee (this assumes that you have money left from what they will charge for the burners.

You can get good deals on ebay.

Thanks, but eBay isn't realy a option as I need to get it sorted to day.

euro car parts may have them also, yes you can change them yourself but i would do a few searches as they can be tricky to get out.

Weird! Weird! Weird! Just jumped back in the car no warning message, stuck my round to the Front of the car and hay presto the lights back on.

I had a simaler problem last week when I had a warning message saying I had a bulb out on my number plate. A hour later jumped back in the car and everything was fine, how odd.

Maybe dirty contacts or a dodgy earth..
I regularly get the "Drivers side number plate bulb deffective" message and yet when I get out and look the bulb is lit !!
