Has anybody had problems with the MB-Genuine replacement AC compressors for the later model 124's. Are the ones sold now giving up the ghost a little prematurely? Are bearing kits, seal & reco kits available or are they just replaced as a unit. Regards to all, W.

What is the best head gasket to use on the 124 3.2 gents, any improvement on what MB offer and if not any part numbers to look for. I am doing this for the second time.

The S124 was due mot and was expecting it to need a fair bit of work doing. It was left to Birkdale Motors to acheive this. The rear subframe has been dropped out with good news on that front. The mounts etc are in very good condition, its had a new set of pipes fitted to the rear end...

Hi, After a few years away from owning a 124 I'm back in the fold with a 280 estate. It has an aftermarket towbar fitted that I wish to remove and wondered if to remove the bar that runs side to side at the rear do I need to remove the bumper? Cheers Toby
