At present i have to press and hold a switch to close my door mirrors, is it possible to have them wired to open and close on ignition?

Hello The rear boot on my car if you close it but don't slam it should then pull the boot in and close it automatically. However although you can hear the motor trying to do this it doesn't pull it in... Any ideas on a fix? Thanks

Noticed yesterday that the boot is now quite hard to close - it needs a real good slam, otherwise it sort of bounces (as if it was locked!) and springs open again. The catch itself looks ok, and its NOT locked. When I slam it, it holds. Any ideas? Thanks!

Didn't quite know where to post this so I went for interior. My 500SE is 17 years old so understandably some things aren't working as they once were. Anyone got any idea what is a likely solution to the pneumatic door closing that's not working any more? Ian

As above, this has happened once or twice. Remedied by re-closing the door, however is this a sign of it not working properly in the future. Coincidantally I don't think the auto wiper system is quite right either...reaction speed seems too slow. Colin.
