I tried a 2001 car this weekend. I was confused by the heating control.Two dials, left/right and one for fan spped. Is this climate or do you have to constantly adjust red-blue and fan speed or is the tempature regulated in some way. The car did have a EC button and a rest button.

The heater controls in my W202 work 100%, but when I wiggle them or turn them, they sound like creaky plastic, which is exactly what they are. Some nylon&rubber lubricant has helped a bit, but they are still a bit creaky. I have had them apart and the workings are lovely and clean...any ideas?

Has anyone got a C class with a golve box cd changer and can change cds from the steering controls. I have some replies to say that I will have to go to Mercedes to have my cd changer activated and then I will be able to change cds. Is this correct?
