It may just be me, but have any of you had problems with your key setting off the alarms placed at exits to supermarkets, shops etc. ..? I really am paranoid now when I enter shops, 7 times out of 10 my key sets off the alarms on entering and leaving retail establishments. :crazy:

my wifes c200k coupe suffers from intermittent remote locking problems. if opened with key works for a while then stops again . and only opens if the fob is 3 inches from the door handle. any ideas on a fix?

I have the IR key fob for my W210. Point it at the door and it unlocks, locks and opens the boot lid. However, try it in the ignition and nothing. It is the spare key so it's not an emergency - just wondered if it's a stealer re-program job or if there's a key press sequence...

Can you help the rear doors of my 1994 S320 Limmo won't open. The buttons go up and down with the remote locking as they should but the doors remain locked from the outside. My local MB dealer said they need to take the trim off the inside of the door, it will then need replacing - £460 + VAT...
