Kestral DAS-6, Maguiars G220 or similar please why?

The original setup for W114 (250 CE) uses one fuel pump. In a W124 E320 the fuel is supplied by two fuel pumps. Is it absolute necessary to install this setup in my swap or can I use the existing one that is bolted on to the chassis already?

Hi had problem with leaking ABC pump not easy to rectify,but after stripping and fitting new seal,on assembly found all cylinder end plugs loose.and one unscrewed two turns making me think the seal ok and leak coming from cylinder end caps, anyone with similer findings.
