I had a look behind my dashboard and saw the bulb tell you there is a light problem was blown. I replaced it and it comes on every time i switch the lights on (main light or side light setting) after a couple of seconds.
After searching here i found that it is normally rear number plate bulbs...
Well, my mission of mercy, involving taking a good friend to LGW this morning so she could get to her grandad's funeral in Banjul turned into a mission of despair.
Got there, no problem, but on way back just past the M4 the "Electrical consumers switched off" message appeared - we stopped...
Morning all, I took my W208 in for its MOT this morning and before I dropped it off I had to fit a new sidelight bulb as mine had popped a few days earlier but after fitting and checking its still not working :-(

Hi all
Nats 1993 e280 has just failed MOT on the following.

Just a heads up - took my car in for a MoT this morning (wish me luck) and the tester advised me to remove my mount while he tested, as otherwise it's a fail.
There's a bit of a grey area in the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations about obstructing the driver's vision in that...
Wonder if anyone can help. I have a 1995 w124 e220 auto. I put it in for its MOT test today, and it failed only on the emissions, specifically the CO reading.
The garage told me that the lambda is "switching" properly so it's probably the cat, but it's worth adding some cataclean to the fuel...
My '99 CLK 320 failed her MoT today. Rear offside disc pitted and front offside brake pipe twisted and stretched.
I'm not totally inept with all things mechanical but how big a job is it to change the discs and the brake pipe, is it something I should be able to achieve myself or best left...
I was surprised today to have my coupe fail it's MOT on the number plates.
I did try to argue as I have had 5 pass certificates from the same garage for cars all carrying the same number plates. And I mean the exact SAME number plates, not others I've had made with the same digits.
The...
I see there have been a few posts on this lately, well here is my problem:
The car is almost solely used for longish trips, motorway, etc. and the temp is always a couple of hairs above 80 deg. That is, until stopped by roadworks and the like. When stopped, the temp will rise to 110 deg or...
Ive had 2 w124's now and they've both had there odometers replaced, 1 at 99,000 the current one at 12000 !

Can anyone advice on what Part I need? and where to get it from, I am in London?
Thanks in advance
