lighter

The ciggy lighter that you use to plug in for getting power for my new dvd screens for the back seats for the kids isnt working so I am having to plug it into the front ciggy lighter. The car is a W211 2004, anybody got any good ideas where I should start to look for troubleshooting ? Thanks

Does anyone know where abouts the fuse is for this? I cant see any blown fuses however it looks like a few might be missing Should this be in the manual as i cant find that either? :bannana:

Anybody got any idea how to get the lighter out. It's stuck in (the heating position) and I can't get it out. Not hugely important, just that I'd like to use it for the Tom Tom occaisionally. Any ideas welcome, thanks.

Hi all, I'm looking for a low profile fag lighter plug, so that I can plug it in and close the ashtray thing over. Doesn't have to be fused, but even the unfused ones are too big. Does such a thing exist, or do I have to butcher one...? I know im too lazy to hard wire things in etc...

For those of you who are heavy smokers and want to put a new (brand new) ash tray and cigarette lighter back into the merc. I have the innards of the part I bought for my CLK computer project. It's the Cigarette lighter unit and the ashtray insert. Never used.... £10 gets you both....
