lumpy

Hi all. I have a 4 speed auto c180. Its done 130k. All changes are smooth apart from 2nd to 3rd which sort of lumps in. Nothing drastic but far from smooth. Is this just a worn gearbox or can I improve things by giving the gearbox a good service with new fluid and filter etc. Thanks John

Hi can anyone help..my ml270 sometimes idles on 4 cylinders then goes on to 5. sometimes i go to pull away an its on 4 then goes to 5. no warning lights have come on..always starts well hot or ice cold. hope someone can point me in he right direction. Thanks
