Mercedes-Benz 230TE Estate car 1985 Concourse | eBay
I'm a fan of this model, but I don't know if I'd give that money when you can get a mint ball Diesel that's had reasonable use for the year for around the same money.
Doesn't it look faintly funereal?
There may be an element of jealousy...
Dateline : Thursday evening 4:30pm
Location : Journey home from work.
Problem : Airmatic 'visit workshop' warning on display.
Quick call to my Indy to explain the problem - my suspicion of a knackered pump looked true. To be honest I've been nursing it for a while until funds permitted the...
Bought this at the end of last year for just over £3000 and today the time came for it's mot. I was a little worried, as although the car has been well mainatined mechanically, I always wonder why a car is being sold with such a short MOT.
It failed!
But only on rusty rear brake pipes...
Stuck for something to do mid week in London, few tickets left.
Great setting, Excellent Nosh fit for Royalty, Great Raffle Prizes.. like Branson's Necker Island etc etc ;)

Joined the club a week or so back.
I dont like making statements like "still running sweet as a nut" as these can often come back and a bite you at a later date.
So I wont (but it is).
Having had Olly (PCS) replace a leaking ABC valve block (surprise suprise) recently, I deceided to take the SL to Scotland, and boy was I glad I did. All my friends thought I was mad and should take the Jeep, as it's Scotland and it's full of potholes and mud tracks they said. How wrong they...
Just because I can :D. I can't remember the last time I went for a drive just for the hell of it, but the sun was shining so it was drop the lid and off into the distance just to feel the wind in (what's left of) my hair and listen to the V8.
Got to stretch its legs a little on a couple...
Hi all
I'm just about to service my car. Service B is showing up on the display. I have air, oil and fuel filters. I am not sure what's the best engine oil to get? I would also like to change the transmission oil along with the diff.
Any advice on what oil to use for these would be great...
I just got back from my 2400 mile blast across France in the E500. The holiday was fabulous as was the car.
The air suspension swallowed up everything I could throw at it (from fully-laden-plus-roof-box motorway blasts to unladen twisty-bashing). The four zone air con came into it's own in...

Hi
Just looking for general consensus of opinion.
Would you consider a trip from Belfast to Lake Garda via Stranraer/Dover/Calais/Basel/Garda and home through Stelvio Pass and Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart?
By the way there would be a wife and 5 kids on board too!!
230K
.... and I didn't take the S500 !
However, I did consider it and decided not to.
We had the privilege of being invited to London on my own steam for a weekend at the behest of a company rep that we deal with. Concert tickets and a nice stay in a very nice hotel.
"Just get here !"
So I...
North Weald Air Field (Essex) RWYB (Run What Ya Brung) event 9th May.
It's a 1/4 Mile event on the drag strip and all cars are welcome. I shall be running my C32 AMG (slight mods) for a giggle :bannana:
From memory it's £10 for spectators and £20 for 1/4 mile runners.
Gates open at 8:30 am...
I'm thinking of buying a 2005 W211 on 89,000 miles
I'm quite relaxed about the miles as long as the condition is good, the history stacks up and so on. I'll only do 15,000-18,000 miles in the next three years so when it's 8 years old it'll be on less than 110k miles. And it's from a trader...
