I'm having an overheating problem with my car when in traffic the temperature goes up to 115.
So far I replaced the water pump, radiator, thermostat, all three switches, viscous fan, belt, tensioner.
I also done the test for CO2.
There's no coolant...

my C63 has now suffered twice from the transmission overheating. I have heard there is a sofdtware update to the ECU to raise the tempature threshold from 135 degrees to a higher number as 135 degrees is considered a conservative tempature.
Anyone heard of this update? had it done?
My son has a clc cl2300,53 reg with the 1800cc engine. The cooling warning is on but the radiator is full. In slow moving traffic the car will overheat and if it gets too hot it will cut out presumably due to safety feature. It would seem that the fan is not operating.
