Business mileage - what's you break even point?

I've just completed my business expenses form for last week, and it got me thinking... For those of you who are able to reclaim the cost of travel expenses when driving, what is your current break even point in terms of MPG? I choose to use V-Power, which last time I filled up was 120.9p...

    W210 central front jacking point.

Is there a place at the front of my car at which I can jack up both wheels at the same time? I can see that there is a plastic cover under the engine, and I haven't spotted a jacking point yet. I want to jack the car up so I can get the sump plug out to drain the engine oil.

    W210 tourque converter lockup point

I have a W210 E320CDI. I commute on the good old A34 daily, and have to contend with the fast-slow-fast-slow nature of the road due to the large number of trucks either overtaking one another or others having to overtake them so you get two lanes of traffic converging into one. Combine that...

    Where do Yours Point??

Air vents that is! :D Driving home yesterday in the lovely sunshine, aircon pumping out ice cold air. I was having difficulties in deciding where to point the ventilation flaps. As the sun was shining directly into the windscreen I tried angling them toward me. Great, lovely and cool but my...

Any point in a different sized spare wheel?

My a124 currently rides on 16" rims fitted with 215 x 55 section tyres but the spare is one of the original 8 hole 15" MB alloys fitted with 205 x 60 section tyres. The car has ASD and I'm concerned that if I use the spare the different sizing might possibly damage it. If I have no option...

Possible to change torque converter lock-up point?

Lots of - no all - owners of C32 AMG complain of the noticeable and sometimes harsh lock-up of the torque converter. It comes as standard with every C32 AMG!! :D Anyone know if it's possible to change the point at which lock-up occurs, either with STAR or something else?

Artico - what is the point??

I was looking at an ML the other day and was dismayed to notice that despite the car costing nearly £50K, MB are too mean to upholster the seats in leather and, to add insult to injury, use a dreadful plastic uphostery with fake suede inserts like some cheap Chevy. Why do they persist in this...
