OK so a search on this forum shows that a Howto for the W210 pollen filter exists. However, the filters on my E320CDI year 2000 with the indicators on the door mirrors have a different configuration - it has 4 filters in total (2 pollen filters behind the glove box plus two carbon filters below...

Is this an easy job to do? and where is it mounted? My aircon has been serviced but isnt functioning that brill, so I am thinking a new filter may help things along.

All set to change it but: how do you get the cover off!! Undone the plastic nut to the rear of the washer bottle filler cap which you would be entitled to think was the key part of the process but nothing wants to move. What am I missing??
