I've been quoted £2900 to replace the leaking roof seals, boot lock & central locking pse pump, this seems expensive! Has anyone had similar work carried out & if so is this price reasonable?? Also any reputable Mercedes specialists in bristol area would be good

Has anyone successfully waterproofed a central locking pump in a SL (R230) ? I realise the answer is to replace all roof seals but cost rules this out at present.
