New member here. I have an S320 CDi 2005. The key fob will not work when a distance from the car. Only works when next to drivers door sensor. Have changed fob batteries but no effect.

Hi all got a '53 c180k sports coupe. No problems with it whatsoever until today.. the central locking has worked from opposite ends of a carpark with no issues.. Today i go out and neither remote worked.. even if i held it right up to the handle. Changed the batteries in 1 key and it unlocked...

Could open the car, then got it open and boot would not close. Found 1" of water in the bottom of the wheel arch well below the trunk fuse box. Dried it all out, pulled a few relays and fuses out and hey-presto all working again. Need to find out how the water is getting in!!
