Hi all, still a fresh faced padawan to AMG's so probably this question has been asked a thousand times and the answer is "they all do that".
I've noticed that the 7G-Tronic in my 2007 E63 is smooth on the upshift and slightly lumpier on the downshift. seems to be 4th and 2nd that i feel the...
Can someone please list the warnings signs of issues?
Bought a 2007 CLK 200K yesterday which misfired on a warm restart. Car has full MB history, recent service and 45,000m. Restarted perfectly. Had been on near 200m run with 1 stop.
Much appreciated.
Is this the first signs that the crankshaft position sensor is going? The car had been driven and was parked for 1 hour, on return, when I tried to start it, all I got was the engine turning over. It's the first time it's ever occurred. I quickly turned off the engine and it started as normal...
I saw an amusing sign today at the office of one of my clients(an engineering company). It read:
WE DO THREE KINDS OF JOB: GOOD, FAST AND CHEAP. YOU MAY CHOOSE ANY TWO BUT REMEMBER,
1. If it's cheap and fast it won't be good
2. If it's good and cheap it won't be fast
3. If it's fast and...
As the title says I was washing my car today and found several little bubbles forming under the wheel arches and at the door ends as well as one in the middle of the roof
suppose its to be expected on an 11yo car but still sad times ahead :'(
Anyway just wanted to share my pain :(
I got all the finance forms by email this afternoon - it seems like my car is at the dealership in Exeter, it's been a long wait and it sounds like it will soon be over and I'll have a lovely new car :bannana:
I've been offered the £40 a month for 2 years servicing package - is that good...
I have just read a thread from the begining, very disturbing but, I may have some sound advice and things to look out for when spotting non genuine alloy wheels. In eleven years of MB ownership three different cars and countless sets of wheels I have as yet to come across a set that do not have...
We do a lot of motorway driving early on Saturday and Sunday mornings (on the way to dog shows). Mostly M3, M4, M25, M23, M1, M40.
I would say almost every trip we get a totally spurious warning or speed limit from the orange matrix signs. Last Saturday on a deserted M4 at about 7AM it was...
And about time too, maybe they will get rid if the clutter we find on most of our roads nowerdays
I believe this is the worst slip road in the UK for signs
The A2 junction for Bridge and Adisham is one of the worst in Britain but it was beaten by the B3006 in Hampshire...
When to B&Q this am and discovered they've plastered the car park with "Vehicle Reversing" signs.
Aside from the fact it's totally pointless/unnecessary - why are we not being warned that vehicles might be travelling forwards.
I'm very tempted to write a letter of complaint saying I'm...

Along the lines of the number plate thread.........
Here's my contribution:
Tonight travelling south on the M3 around 6pm, queueing traffic at the intersection with the east bound M27, 50mph warning signs all the way to halfway between Junction 5 and Junction 7, able to make about 5mph in...

A new attempt to educate some of Britain's most irritating drivers gets underway today.
Two new safety messages will be unveiled on busy motorways urging motorists not to lurk needlessly in the middle lane.
To be shown on 30 signs on the M1, M6, M18 and M62 for...
