Looks like its my upper ball joint thats been squeaking, does the arm have to be replaced or can the BJ be changed alone?

Turns out that my hazard lights problem wasn't a fuse box issue, but rather the upper control panel is faulty. Strange thing is when I take the panel out it only has one connector, but three holes for connections. Anyways I'm looking for a replacement part number is 203 870 79 10
