05 e220 cdi no brakes abs light on with ping sound

Called to the garage this morning to see what was happening and they have assured me that this is the problem also says twelve month gaurantee on the repair and that it will cure the problem so I prob will go ahead with considering by the time. I pay them for their services and then get the car recovered to another dealer and then pay again it all adds up.
I paid 3300 for the car and it's got 98k miles so at that price it allows me some money to play with.
Any idea what these 05 are fetching on the market ?
