1 0ff clk 55 amg on auto

trouble is as when i was buying it there are no blue ones to compare to which is good in some ways and silver ones are worth nothing

I don't think that is entirely true! I agree that blue is much rarer (and suits the car well), but then again the 208 CLK55 is not out there in huge numbers. There is no way that you can make a statement saying that blue 55's are worth more than silver ones, that simply is not the case, believe me, I spent a long time searching for a CLK55 (and a CLK500) and they are not price sensitive to colour.

If you are not in a hurry you might be lucky and someone like-minded may come along. It's a very unique car and will appeal to only a select few.

not only blue any other colur rather than silver

not only blue any other colur rather than silver

Kind of implies that the other colour options were not popular to start with.

The W208 looks quite good in blue. But the silver ones look very good. And typically (IME) silver MBs don't look as dirty as other colours when they pick up a sheen of dirt.

i can 100% say blue ones are worth more i spent about 3 months looking for it

An argument that can go on.... and on................ and on.................................. and on....

13 W208 CLK55's on Autotrader at the moment. 12 silver, one blue (yrs). That makes the blue a much rarer colour. I would make the asumption that silver is therefore a very popular MB colour and probably appeals to the majority of buyers ergo......not worthless....

If I'm not mistaken, pretty much all of your posts have been in this thread?

Only 6 more posts and you'll be able to post your advert in the classified section.

Not that you really need to now as you've attracted much more attention here.

Blue ones are definatly rare, but as a whole I'd say that the 208 55 is quite a popular car a the moment considering its a bit special - To put it into perspective, I've seen 6 in the last three weeks at auction and two of them have popped back up here.....

A very popular car at the moment, so many for sale can only make the individual ones rarer.... Get some proper CLK seats put in the car, remove the glass film and those plastic rings around the lights. Then re price accordingly and I am sure you will sell.
