Simon i'm 100% certain this is exactly the same spec as before sawyer bought it. I check for 55's daily for the last 18 months (sad i know)

You're claiming it has COMAND when it clearly doesn't. And moreover the pictures show it doesn't.

So if I'm a buyer who scrutinises the interior pictures have I just skipped past? I distrust the seller.

Then there's the rear windows. It's an AMG not a Corsa. Tacky. I just skipped past.

And the seats. Not so bad. But I've seen the car and looking at the price and thinking it's AMG and I want it to look like an AMG (Recaro might look good in a Capri but not this AMG IMO). I'm having second thoughts and walking away to look for another one.

I'm not saying you won't find a buyer or achieve your price. There are no certainties out there. But the these forums are reasonably civilised and they're not gushing with enthusiasm.

All I am trying to say is that if the car was in its factory state (the way it left the factory) then it would be worth more and easier to sell. By removing the aftermarket items such as the window film, chrome light rings and Recaro seats it would appeal to a larger audience, be worth more and possibly sell quicker.

Each to their own though, I am sure someone out there is looking to spend 14k on a nine year old CLK55 AMG in Blue with darkend glass and Recaro bucket seats.

Sorry but I don't believe AMG fitted those seats, or window film and light rims.

Now if you have docs to show otherwise....

Sawyer didn't do the mods, and if they're not factory original i don't think he know's they are not factory original

So what paper work do you actually have? As this will definitely help the Sale if it is a bill of sale/works done etc

Not at all! If you have the providence all is well. You have a unique vehicle

Does it record the seats, the windows, the lights?

Anyone can emboss AMG into the seats....

I've just been having a read of this thread......very amusing in places!

The car doesn't have COMAND.

The wheels, arches and Recaro seats could well be factory AMG, as they're identical to the F1 Pace Car.

But it's a nice car, if rather over-priced considering the mileage.
