124 B Service cost etc

Afternoon all,

I just booked my car in for a B service and a transmission fluid change. £450 inc. VAT. Doesn't sound overly unreasonable to me I guess but I am having trouble finding anywhere that tells exactly me what a B service entails.

Anyone care to enlighten me?

enter your car details, and you should get an itemised list.
atf if done properly is at least £150... upto 235 from stealers... so i would say 250 - 300 for b service alone sounds ok...

Yeah it's the whole 'day off work' thing I don't really need. This place is a Merc specialist and they've chucked in a courtesy car as well. If they do well I'll pop them in here for some praise.

There is no such thing as a B Service on a 124. They are either a lube service or a maintenence service.

Then at mileage and time intervals some other service items are required.

The guys asked what the mileage was and quoted after that. I'm guessing I'm getting a maintenance service then with a plug change etc (118k miles)?
