124 bike carrier

Any recommendations for a good roof mounted cycle carrier for a 124? It has to go on the roof. I dont want a tailgate or towbar mounted one.

The 124 roof bars have a much smaller diameter than modern roof bars and have an odd profile. I don't want to buy one that doesn't fit well.

I have a set of standard halfords roof bars (which i then attach the bike carriers) which fit the W124 estate fine.....

That's a good idea. I would like to use the original bars if possible though. They look so much nicer than modern ones.

You're quite right - just did a quick search and they did do cycle carrier. Anyone got one (or preferably 2) that I could take off their hands? Alternatively, is anyone able to search german eBay for me - i don't speak the lingo.
