Can anybody advise how to adjust the height of the leading edge on the factory fit sunroof please. It sits just slightly lower than the roof at the leading edge but is level at the rear. I only noticed as I had to fit a new wind deflector (this I do not believe is the issue) but may be connected. I notice that when the rood slides closed it has three rubber pads under the leading edge that ride over the deflector? There also appears to be adjustments on the rails but playing with these has shown noticeable difference.

Sorry. I should add. I also tried adjusting using the white wheel in the boot. It is not a big issue we are talking a couple of mm. But I now can't un-see what I have my eyes have seen.

Well it wasn't that ;^(

I had a play with the rails and there is (what I think is) an adjustment on each rail. I wound this out a few turns and did likewise with the rail retaining screws. All now looks good.

Bruce did you have a link to workshop manual from me?

Yes I did. Thank you. The problem is that my car is a 1987 vintage and it appears that in 1988 Mercedes changed a lot of parts and fittings. I know this as when I order parts (like for the sunroof) I usually end up with the later part, even though Mercedes insist that they have the correct part.
