Hi,

Could anyone point me to how-to make an 12v socket in boot which is always ON?
I've seen fuses so it shouldn't be to hard to do.
I was quoted over £200 by MB stealer just for labour...

I'm sure that I can connect one of those splitter somewhere...

Cheers
Chris

You can buy the proper connectors to clip into the fusebox to make a dedicated supply for the socket.

I've got some......somewhere...

Thanks guys!

The question which I should as is:

Where do I connect those proper connectors to? No idea :(
I don't have socket in boot hence the question.

And one more thing, it should be always-on as I'm planning to connect freezer from time to time :)

Cheers
Chris

Is there a rear fusebox, if so the busbar will be permenantly live. Just clip in a contact and add a fuse, then it's Bob's your Uncle and ...

i think it depands on what size the freezer is ,ie what the watts on freezer ?

wire straight from battery for best amp on the wiring.

all you need for the job is:

A0075458426 : PIN BUSHING : EUR .78 (X2)
A2108200951 : FITTING MOLD : EUR 9.07

+ some wiring from halfords rated up to 30amp or something + an iline fuse up to 30amp....
