160mph speedo change to 200mph

My pal had an early CL65 that the speedo only read to 160 on ....

However Maffs read to 200 ( was a later model ) ...

Very true ....

Don't know if the digital one went over 200 in Germany ? I imagine the analogue one would have just sat on the stop ...

also, if I wanted a lecture from some of you, I would have asked my mother where could I find a 200mph speedo. Thanks for you concern though.

LOL.

Good luck sourcing what you want, hopefully cheaper than going to AMG for a solution.

Don't forget people like MBenzNL and similar.

yes digital speedo stops at 160. but you can tell by the revs. every 1000 rpm is 35mph in 5th gear. i will ask amg thanks for your help. how accurate are tom toms for showing speeds?

A GPS device like a TomTom will give you a accurate read out, but under rapid acceleration, hard braking or high speeds they lag quite a bit.

At a contant speed you will get a accurate read.

You've got to do it for your own self-esteem. Even the speedo on my C200 Diesel goes up to 160

I would be tempted to by a road angel or similar as it will be accurate!
