Hey guys, im thinking of throwing on a cossy kit..

well.. i was thinking about it until i did this ...
now theres no dout im putting it on :D

what you guys think? two tone or single?

im leaning towards the two tone as the 190s one of the few cars that can get away with two tone well imo
but the single tone does look nice and shiny new and is tempting me

Wow you seem pretty good in photoshop...lol. To be honest I like it with the Cossy kit colour coded. Gives a more new clean look and really suits it well

I'd try to get the front bumper on straight though...

And colour coded for me too..

:D Thats 2 forums now telling you to go with the colour coded onetone kit CrysAk:D

I still say you should keep the black bits black on the kit though and not fully colour coded;)

Stu

I like it 2 tone .... :)

haha thanks guys ^^ hey stwat :D

you guys all have no taste (except howard ...) i really like the two tone haha

still got a good few months before i get the kit on so plenty of time for you all to come to your senses :P .. or me... no.. no. not me surely

I too just had a play in photoshop changing the colour of the colour coded bumpers to black. The answer you are looking for, and I'm sure of nothing else but this, colour coded all the way :)

Like Howard, I like the 2 tone but I think the wheels are too big ...

I like the two tone  .... Where are you getting the kit from and do they do one for the w124??????..

The wheels look great btw. The cosworth kits look the b*ll*x in any colour, you can't really go wrong.

Are you thinking of changing the wheels? (I'm fishing here.....)

I must be getting old as I prefer it stock.

You are very very good at photoshop

.

haha sorry m8 but the wheels are staying :P

im not 100% sure if i want the kit on yet or not.. i like it strock photos just dont do it justice) but saying that i wouldnt mind sonmething a little meaner looking

im getting hte kit from various places in pieces (i had a full kit and sold half of it :( lol)
but trying to keep costs down and spray it myself

still got the fit the new engine, turbo, brakes, arb, shocks, springs, brushes and some other small things before the kit goes on , so got some good time to think about it still ^^

could you let us know where you get the kit from as im looking for bits for the SEC... in particular something to finish off the front & rear bumpers...

Two tone, i have got front and rear cossi bumpers on( havent got round to doing the skirts yet.Two tone looks better in your colour than mine i think.

Just out of interest, are you using Adjustment Layers in this Photoshop work i.e. solid colour adjustment layers, then using blending options?

Sorry if this off topic....

as for where im getting teh kti from, mainly mercedes190.co.uk , you could maybe try a sec forum?

as for the photoshop question i use seperate layers witha cropped kit from another car

distort to match mine

get an outline of teh cith (ctrl click on layer)

new layer in red with solid colour

change the properties to burn then adjust teh colour to match better than the red :P

use dodge/burn to touchup any bits
