Hello,
Bit new to this so please be gentle with me.

I am trying to gain access to the aerial as it needs replacing - there is a Bosch aerial fitted at present and I want to revert to the electric hirschman unit.

I know that I need to remove the trim but can only see one fastener.

Don't want to damage the trim - and it is a very tight fit.

Can anyone point me to either an article, pictures or describe the order I should remove things. If not I am likely to be writing a wanted article for "grey boot trim for a saloon"

Thanks in advance of a reply if you can help.

Stephen.

Bosch and hirschman tend to be identical, the trim just pulls out.

Nick,
Thanks for the reply.

Attached (hopefully) is a picture of the current aerial which I was informed is a Bosch aerial - it is fixed, not electrical and in need of replacement (as is the grommet). So not sure if the aerials are the same?

Is there a correct technique for removing the trim - I am assuming I should pull up or pull down, pull (depending upon whether it has upwards or downward facing hooks / lips, etc.

If anyone has a picture of the back of the trim out of the car that would be appreciated and perhaps enlighten me as to the best technique?

Thanks again for the help and any other help anyone can offer.
