2001 e320 cdi hard to start on hill

hi guys, on a few occastions my car has struggled starting while on a slight slope, i park off road on my drive which has a slight slope, and while at my arnts the other day, who lives on a hill. thing is i did park it the oppersite way at my arnts and no prob starting. is this a comon thing ?

If you do a search there has been a few threads on this.

It'll be the plastic fuel lines leaking at the seals, common and not a major job to fix.
