ok this is going to sound like a very noobish question but need to ask how I check bloody oil level in this car. ive never had a car without a dipstick. I went on youtube and figured out I have to go thru some menus on the computer to check it.

so, I twisted the key to ignition 2, went to the part of the menu where the computer measures the oil level, it tells me to turn the ignition on to check the oil level (i assumed that means turn the car on as its already at ignition 2). so, I turn the car on and the computer tells me that the engine oil level can only be checked if the engine is off (which makes sense to me) but don't get y its telling me to turn the car on then.

don't get it

help!

You can't check the oil level with the engine running. Turn key to position 1 scroll to check oil level and wait for it to check level, car needs to be on level ground and preferably cold to get correct level.

yeh lol just gave it another go and realised I need to start off at ignition 1 rather than 2, then flip to 2 when it tells me to.

thanks mate.
