Hi we have a 2007 B Class which gets serviced at MB of Leicester every year. But a few days ago our car is saying that our right brake light has failed but when we look at it its not fused at all.

Can someone suggest what to do. Do you Mobilolife can help us out?

Hope to speak to you soon.

Just change the bulb, the car has a checking circuit that monitors bulbs and it works by measuring the electrical resistance, as bulbs age this changes and can trigger a failure warning even though the bulb in question may still be working.

I would change both sides at the same time so the bulbs are matched otherwise you may then get the warning for the other side.

No need to call a break down service:thumb:

Hi I forgot to mention that the dash lights up sometimes but not all the time. When it does light up it stays on.

What do you mean by "the dash lights up"? If you mean the failure warning then that is what it is supposed to do, change the bulbs first and see if the problem goes away.
